Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
Cream together the melted butter and sugars.
Sift together the dry ingredients.
Toss the chocolate chips in the flour mixture and set aside.
Add the egg and flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring to combine.
Add the chocolate chips and mix to combine.
Add the dough to a floured surface and and cut out 12 bat shapes.
Add to a greased baking tray and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
Leave to cool before dipping in melted chocolate.
Leave to set and then serve.
