Hi and welcome back.

I hope you are okay and doing well. I must admit, sometimes I just craving for foods. Is that just me? I spent my teenage years unaware I had coeliac disease and spending a lot of money at Greggs on their sausage, bean and cheese melts. I have found alternatives or created recipes for so many other foods I have been craving but just never found a good substitute for this ultimate food.

That was until I was introduced to Lo-Dough by Louise from whatchewlookingat. I was instantly intrigued and loved it! Lo-Dough is a UK based company in Manchester selling gluten, dairy free and vegetarian alternative to bread. They have 3 products: the Original Lo-Dough bases*, Lo-Dough Brownie Mix* and their Lo-Dough Southern Style Coating*.

Their main product is a Lo-Dough Original Bases* that can be used as sandwich thins, pizza bases or as pastry alternative. You can find their website here. It is a light and thin texture similar to a wrap and plain flavoured so can be used to make sweet or savoury options. The Lo-Dough Original Bases* are sold in a pack of 2 and sold in stores in the UK and Ireland and via their on-line store.

Here are 5 things you need to know about the Lo-Dough Original Bases* as well as my favourite recipe to use with them. I hope you enjoy. Please let me know in the comments what you think of Lo-Dough. C. -x-

5 Things You Need to Know about Lo-Dough Original Bases

1. So what are the Lo-Dough Original Bases*?

Lo-Dough Original Bases* are made from high quality ingredients including gluten free wheat fibre and egg white. Sadly, a lot of gluten free bread products can be high in calories and sugar which can contribute to increased weight gain. Lo-Dough Bases* contain only 39 kcal making them a better option than other traditional gluten free options.

2. What are the ingredients?

Easily the most important thing for me is that these delicious Original Bases* are both gluten and dairy free. I love how they taste and feel safe knowig I don’t have to worry when I am eating them. The hardest part is keeping them away from the rest of my family!

They use the finest quality ingredients including a gluten free wheat fibre. I found I had no signs or symptoms of glutening after eating these and can’t recommend them enough.

3. How do I purchase them?

You can purchase Lo-Dough products in select stores in the UK and Ireland as detailed on their website here. You can also order any of their products from their website. The Lo-Dough Original Bases* cost £3.25 for 2 bases per packet. You can also subscribe to their website where you save 20% on your order.

4. Why should I pick these over gluten free bread?

I love this product because of the many different ways you can use it. With bread you can be limited to toast or sandwiches. The Lo-Dough Original Bases* can be used to create pizzas, wraps, burritos, pastry and even in baking! Lo-Dough have a lot of recipes on their website as well as 2 cookbooks if you are looking for inspiration.

5. They are so tasty!

I love how quickly and easily I can put together so many amazing meals and they all taste amazing!
