My Top 5 Favourite Gluten Free Recipes of 2020
1. My Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Muffins
Right at the start of lockdown, everyone started baking banana muffins, banana bread and anything banana related. I have always loved to bake with banana and, having such a sweet tooth, meant I couldn’t resist adding an extra spin to it. This recipe is quick and easy to make and tastes sooo good! You all seemed to love it too. Here is the link for my Gluten and Dairy Free Chocolate Banana Muffins. I will be baking another batch again soon.
2. My Gluten Free Sausage, Bean and Cheese Melt with @Lo-Dough Original Bases*
One thing I have missed since becoming a coeliac is Greggs. I loved their Sausage, Bean and Cheese Melt and have always struggled to find a good alternative. When I heard about the @Lo-Dough Original Bases I couldn’t resist trying to make a Sausage, Bean and Cheese Melt with them. The result is a light and crisp outer pocket filled to the brim with cheese and beans and sausages. I loved this snack and look forward to making more things with their Original Bases soon. You can find my recipe for that here.
3. My Gluten Free Brownie Recipe
I couldn’t sum up my top 5 favourite recipes without sharing my Gluten Free Brownie Recipe. Brownies have been my sticking point in terms of recipes for years – I just could NOT get them right. I tried and loved the Lo-Dough Brownie Mix which you can find my review here but still wanted to be able to bake my own brownies. I was so excited to share this recipe with you and I still love it now! Here is the recipe in case you missed it.
4. My Gluten Free Easy Lemon Chicken
My flavour combinations in food changed a lot over 2020, even before I became pregnant. I suddenly found myself trying to re-create flavours of food I had been to scared to enjoy before I was a coeliac. I loved this Easy Lemon Garlic Chicken Recipe because it is packed with flavour without being overpowering. What savoury recipe have you enjoyed this year?
5. My Gingerbread Traybake Recipe
I absolutely love baking over the holiday season and this Gingerbread Traybake was so exception. So far, my Vanilla Traybake Recipe has been my most viewed and searched for recipe on my blog so you all seem to love the Traybake – who doesn’t? I decided to give this traditional recipe a festive twist and loved how it came out. This Gingerbread Traybake was so simple to make and tasted sooo good. I hope you got to try it out -x-
